Neglected by his parents, Ludovic meets and falls in love with Sophie, the daughter of a piano teacher. Sophie also feels neglected by a father who is usually away on business. She is intrigued by this strange boy who loves her but has a dubious grasp on reality. Not long after Sophie’s father finds them nude together in her room, Ludovic is sent away to spend time with his grandparents. Sophie runs away from home to join him, and they hide along the seashore and in abandoned buildings. They encounter a creepy photographer, who takes photos of them but makes no effort to help them in their deteriorating situation.

This is a good quality AVI file of a 1993 television movie from Belgium. The French soundtrack has dubbing of good quality. There should be a Dutch-language version with the original audio somewhere, but it has been unavailable so far.

When The Boy Scouts posted a link to the Sous-titres by Make website (http://morriss.lx.tripod.com/), contributor crag asked Make about French subtitles for this film, so that he might convert them into English. Make transcribed the dialogue from the movie and produced a French subtitle file, which crag utilized in creating an English subtitle file, consulting with Make on numerous questions of interpretation and nuance.
