Les Inseperables (2001)

12-year-old Eric lives in a rehabilitation center, awaiting adoption. His best friend, Petya, older than him, is a street juggler and dreams of working in a circus when he gets out of the institution. Peter and Corinne Lequerrec have recently adopted Mary. They want to adopt Eric as well, but the doctor is opposed to having the child leave the facility too soon because he fears latent depression. During a weekend where Eric stays with his future parents, Petya is accused of taking part in a crime perpetrated by Momo and Graf, two other teens from the center.

Note: This is the sequel to “La traversée du phare” (1999)
